We started because we needed this service ourselves.

Translate Near Me was founded in Wharton, Texas in 2017 by a team that grew up navigating Spanish-English in the Gulf Coast region. We know what it means to need a birth certificate translated for a job application, or a custody document done right before a court date. We built this service for that.

Our translators are vetted, credentialed, and matched to the type of document you send us. We do not run a general linguist pool. Spanish-English medical records go to someone with healthcare background. Legal contracts go to translators with legal training. Immigration documents go to people who understand USCIS format requirements.

We are ATA members and our certified translations meet the requirements of USCIS, Texas courts, major employers, banks, and educational institutions. We are not the cheapest option in Texas. We are the one that does not cost you a second filing fee.

Most of our clients come to us through word of mouth or after a bad experience elsewhere. We have supported families through green card applications, businesses through cross-border contracts, law firms through ongoing case loads, and students through the credential evaluation process.
